Life can feel overwhelming at times. And some things are just too heavy to carry alone.
Whatever brings you here, I offer a confidential space where together we can explore what’s going on, at a pace that suits you. Whether that’s facing something specific, or tackling a feeling that something just isn’t quite right. Every journey is different.
Here are the primary ways I can support you:

Emotional Pain & Suicidal Thoughts
When life feels unbearable, it can be almost impossible to see a way through. I work with people experiencing intense emotional pain and suicidal thoughts, and I know that for some, even making contact takes enormous courage. This is a space where you don’t have to pretend things are better than they are. There’s no rush, and we work with what’s real, for you.
If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to keep safe, please call 999, go to A&E, or contact Samaritans on 116 123.
Oak House Therapy is not a crisis service.

Young Adult Transitions
Being a young adult is tough. If you’re somewhere between 17 and 25, there’s pressure coming from every direction: exams, careers, relationships, identity, independence. It can feel like everyone else has it figured out except you. I work with young adults navigating exactly this, whatever form it takes. No judgement, no agenda. Just a quiet, calm space to think things through.

Support for Men
A lot of men find it hard to ask for help. Not because they don’t need it, but because they’ve spent years being told, in one way or another, that they should just get on with things. If that resonates, then you’re in the right place. I work with men on whatever is wearing them down. Whether that’s anger, stress, relationship difficulties, emotional exhaustion, or simply not feeling like themselves. No performance required. Just space to work through what matters to you.

Whatever Else Life Throws at Us
Not everything fits neatly into a category. Sometimes you just know that something isn’t right, even if you can’t quite put a name to it. I also work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, bereavement, and relationship difficulties. Whatever it is, you don’t have to have it all figured out before you get in touch. Working out what’s going on is part of what we do together.

Executive Coaching
Having spent many years as a Chief People Officer and HR Director in global organisations, I know how isolating and relentless senior leadership can be. If you’re feeling unfulfilled at work, navigating a high-stakes transition, or struggling under the weight of professional responsibility, coaching provides a structured space to think. Together, we work toward more deliberate and balanced ways of working.

At Oak House Therapy we work from a place of deep respect for client autonomy, believing that individuals have the right and capacity to make their own choices. While we provide a professional and supportive framework for navigating distress, we are not a crisis intervention service and cannot take responsibility for a client’s actions or personal choices outside of our clinical sessions. Our role is to walk alongside you as you navigate your path, offering a grounded space for reflection and safety planning.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or the Samaritans on 116 123.
